I think that starting something like ww is a tough one, its so easy to go over points when you think you are staying within them. It really comes down to weighing measuring etc until you get used to the sizes etc. Anyway, that 3 will be gone next week. Squatters beware!!

i don't think i can at the moment linzi. i'm a carb-craving maniac at the mo... and when i've lost lots of weight in the past i have felt more comfortable on green days rather than red ones on sw etc. saying that, i've never managed to keep it off have i?

i'll give it another big shot. i have had a few occasions this week where i've looked at points values for naughty things and thought 'surely not!!' and it looks like the not may be in there. i've been wanting very naughty food with totm. mainly chips!!

oh. i was going to ask on the ww board about making chips... i'll go and do that now...
 
i hope so but i doubt it. i'm not usually that lucky :)

ah well, onwards and onwards :) so far i've had a 1 point prune yoghurt. will snack on a couple of snackajacks mid-morning and i have left over veg stirfry for lunch. so the day is set up well so far :)

plus today i am going to be making the wedding invitations. i've finally printed out the insides, so now i just need to bung it all together and write peoples' names in them... hopefully i'll manage to post them by the end of the week :D

i drink about 2litres a day and then coffee, tea etc on top of that... so my fluids are up. i think i'm probably eating too much of the crap stuff with my points rather than using them to enrich the meals i do eat. so i'm going to concentrate more on that this week i think.

still. grrr.


I know you don't wanna hear this cos I'm the same with coffee - coffee will promote water retention and is not really conducive to losing weight - that said, I still drink coffee. If you do decide to cut down on coffee do it gradually cos you never realize how addicted you are until you try to do without - the headaches are quite something :eek:
 
i know that gem. i've done it a couple of times. but i don't want to give up coffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. so i'll see how i go without first :D

Agreed Abz try and replace the caffeine for decaf, buy a good brand and it tastes similar and start the day with a cup of tea (caffeine fix).

Try and stick with the motto of if you cant catch it (meat) or grow it (vege etc) dont eat it!

Exception of yoghurt and cheese.

Think about how long it takes to grow wheat and grind and bake a loaf of bread?? Maybe a 2 months?? So if this makes one loaf and you have to spread it over a min of 6 weeks this how much bread you should be eating (maybe 1 slice a day or every other day!). Also consider this for pasta. So pasta once a week, (although WW meals are point controlled).

Food for thought..... no pun intended !!

Ok, 3lbs each then Abz! Oh dear, I guess we are both fed up bunnies. I am hoping that mine is at least a bit of water, as it has all been gained since yesterday when I was STS!

Abz - it is hard to give up coffee and I've never actually given it up for long but I do feel a little better when I cut down and the water retention is less x
 
hey dee :)

this was with new batteries yes. OH got me the right ones, ha.

bon is fine. she hurt her ankle and hasn't been able to even hobble so hasn't been at work which is where she usually has internet access. am sure she'll be around soon :)
