it's not too bad bren, but i was totally on my own today, and it was a very long day. am on my own at the weekends and it has busy times but there is only a certain kind of staff in then, rather than every kind of department you can think of that wants things!!

good morning everyone.

well the office smells like dead rodent. there's no other smell like it i can think of, other than really really really really really bad feet. it's making me feel so so sick. i'm not going to be able to work here much longer if it doesn't clear. i went down to the other end of the office to see if it was there too and it isn't. bleurgh.

so, not sure a good start to the morning but i'm here and i have a cup of tea and it's friday!! woo. and i have the weekend off. a very busy weekend but a weekend off.

weighed in at 14st 2 this morning. so that's 6.25 in the last 2.75 weeks, ha. hopefully will have another .5 or 1 off by monday

oh god i feel ill...

Oh babe the smell is not going to work for you. Can you open a window? Has the rodent been found?

what window would you suggest i open. i sit next to a window which always has the blinds shut that looks out onto the air conditioning inlet, and that doesn't open. i'm shoved in a corner, looking at the corner and some large monitoring screens. nobody else seems to be able to smell this stench other than one other woman and she works in another part of the office. i'm getting a headache

not sure what i can do about it though if others think it is a phantom smell

What do you think the smell is? Could it be a health and safety issue? Could be others can smell it but don't like to say. Bit like The Emperor's New Clothes

Oh honey it doesn't sound good.....

Find the little bugger, sniff it out and bin him/her. Could it be something in the bin??? going rotten?

nope. all the bins are emptied... and i've had a quick scout about but the problem is i don't want to find it!! urgh...

as for the emporer's new clothes. i've been harping on about it and asking everyone so i doubt it. but it's gross

Perhaps during your lunch you could pop down to the shops and pick up a spray or 'Nil odour' ?

It's a product we have here that you can put a drop or a few on the carpet and it works wonders in 30 mins and nuetralizes odours!

anything like that makes my nose itch bren...

i think i'm ok now. i can't really smell it any more i've gotten so used to it and i'm eating tuna so that's all any of us will be able to smell for a while now

Well the strange smell seems to be gone. or at least i can't smell it any more. which probably means that i stink of it myself!! and i am chomping on airwaves chewing gum, ha. great stuff that

work is a bit dull but ongoing... can't wait for the next three hours to be over so i can go home!!

well guys i'm back home and waiting to go out again. we are off to a friend's house for dinner. she is doing ww too and told me to hold onto 10.5 points. no probs thinks me, having ended most days this week on around 18. i've only got 11 left, ha. but then i did all that saving of points this week for this weekend so no worries.

i was going to take a bottle of wine with me, but that increases the chances of me drinking a lot. not adverse to one glass if it is offered but know we'll end up drinking a couple of bottles otherwise!!

tomorrow night is rocky horror night and there will be chilli on offer and pear and chocolate tart... so it's tomorrow night that i have been saving my points up for really and then it is a friend's birthday on sunday and i think we are going out to eat... so yeah. a very foody weekend!!

here's hoping there'll still be a loss at the end of it!!

well i'm up already. got home last night around midnight and woke up this morning around six as usual. with a little help from the cat of course and couldn't get back to sleep.

last night was lovely. my friend made chicken lasagne with potato wedges with a ww chocolate eclair for dessert. yummy. but then she always makes that when we go, but we don't mind because we love it and we've yet to invite them over to ours we're so crap!!

had two glasses of wine too, so slightly over daily points allowance but i've been stocking up all week. i think the max you can save per day is four and i've definately done that since monday. so that's 16 points and i went four over last night, leaving me with 12 for rocky horror night. think i might be making a big veg stirfry for about half a point again to save them all up for the chilli and pear and chocolate tart. plus other cake. because there will be other cake. cake is (fortunately? unfortunately) a big specialty for a couple of our friends so when a lot of us get together? tends to be a bit of a cakefest. but i only want the pear and chocolate tart and since i drank last night i don't think i'll want to drink tonight. i don't think many people, if any, will be, so that's a huge points saving
