Abi's weightloss diary - post jaw surgery

well guys last night was awesome. we almost forgot to watch rocky horror we were all having such a good time. i had two bowls of chilli with a few nachos (no cheese) and then we all had a little bit of chocolate and pear tart and this banana and caramel thingy with ice cream. but go me, i got full and gave away my banana and caramel thing after a little taste :D since i had all but four of yesterday's points and then 12 extras i saved up i don't think i will have gone over as the veggi chilli was almost free and i only tried a tiny bit of the meat stuff. so points in nachos and sour cream and then the desserts and one tequila and soda slammer (to get into the swing of things, ha. there was no need for alcohol. i was chirpier than a chipmunk!!) so safe in the points.

i'm .25 of a lb over what i was last week so hoping that will be gone by tomorrow and i'll have lost all last week's gain and a little bit more. need to drink a lot of water today, was a bit naff at that last night.

and sang along to the whole of rocky :D

off to do something for a friend's birthday today we think but she hasn't decided what yet... so we'll see. but if she wants to go out she wants to go for tapas so i'll be able to take it fairly easy :)

well have been out for a carvery sunday dinner today. scrummy. mostly veg, but probably quite pointy due to roasted parsnips. jam roly polly pudding is on the menu tonight for my friend's birthday so points today probably not been that great... will be lucky to get a sts tomorrow i reckon...

well weigh in this morning reveals that i have lost a lb :) (well, ok. 4lbs if you include last week's gain, but i'm not really as it was totm...)

i am happy with that as i still have friday night's dinner, saturday's chilli-fest and sunday's carvery dinner all inside me somewhere!! so hopefully a big loss this coming week, ha.

really need to get back on top of water consumption too.

so that is... um... 6lbs in three weeks, an average of 2lbs per week, which will do for now. was hoping for a bit more given my large loss in my first week but last week's gain put a stop to that. but it's a good result :)

now i need to start saving up points for this coming weekend. my other bridesmaid is coming to stay (you there somewhere bon?) and we are trying on dresses and of course eating very healthily :D but there may be a glass or two of wine involved if bon can stand the sight of the stuff yet :D

hi bren :)

well i'm working an evening shift tonight. so i'm not at work until 1. am hoping to go for a walk this morning. was supposed to be going swimming but since i dyed my hair red it is still leaking loads of colour into the water and i don't want a giant streak.. ha. but am hoping to go for a walk or some such thing instead...

Good to hear you are finding ways to keep at it. I figure even if I go for just 30 mins and sit on the bike when I'm not motivated, I always feel better afterwards. I wen through a phase for a while where I just saw it as a chore. But then just started going everyday for 30 mins and I found it easy again. So trick is to just keep doing little bits here and there.


When is you dress fitting again?? Save me reading back in posts..... little lazy!!!

hee. i don't know exactly when it is bren. but i want to have it mid-june. which gives me time to slim down but not so late that i'm panicking i don't have a dress!!

I thought I had posted my congrats on your latest loss but I can't seem to see it so CONGRATULATIONS again:D

Once I manage to work out what on earth I am doing I'm going to be chasing the lot of you;)
