hello all. you'll never guess what? they forgot to alter my dress. so my mum traveled 400 miles for nothing. so that was more than a little bit crap. so they are doing it this week. it still looked fab. still have no clue what to do with my hair though. i think i may have to cave and get it done by a hairdresser, ha. also, after a frantic effort to find a strapless bra, it made the dress look weird. so i am going braless, which i hate. but i've had straps added to the dress so i don't feel quite as likely to fall out of the thing. but argh... so the dress fitting wasn't so great.

also, i have decided to go back to work at the weekend. i think this endless cycle of sleeping all the time really isn't helping me. if i fall asleep on my desk then so be it. the doc wouldn't sign me back onto work this week but my note finishes on thursday and she did say she can't make me take another one. given that i am getting married in four weeks i want to build up stamina to be able to stay awake all day. and it isn't like we run around the office (or i might actually be thin) and the weekends are quiet so i should be able to gage it. we'll see :)

saw the caterers. that went fine :) and also saw the cars. and the one i'm going in is FAB. the guy, who is lovely, said that he would take us for a whip around the block when the ceremony was over so that thomas could have a ride in it and we could have our complimentary glass of champers :) one of the reasons we hired him is because he was so lovely :)

so it was a busy day. and i managed to sleep until almost 9am!!

Be very careful Abz. In the past I've gone back too early with bad results - no-one thanks you for going back only to be off again! It's quite a different thing pottering around at home and being in demand at work (even if it isn't a running around job). The other thing is if the docs advice is to stay home then you don't have a leg to stand on if anything goes wrong. Think very carefully before going against docs advice Abz - you know it makes sense x
 
Abz it is all coming together. Dress will be fine, know what you mean about going bra less!!

Do take it easy as Gem says.

Gotta agree about going back to work hun. You don't want to make things worse this close to the wedding. x x :hug99:
