Alcohol

Do you find people insist or try & force you to have a drink when socialising in Pub, etc?
I've been out all day following my local footy team from 10am till 8pm on an away match. I enjoyed the game but got sick of people, especially as they become more intoxicated saying have a drink!, what's up with you?, get one down you, don't be Boring etc. I came back from loo to find my hubby had told them I wasn't drinking coz on a diet!!!!! This made things worse, they then started saying, 1 won't make u fat, etc. obviously I wasn't going to try & explain dangers of alcohol & ketosis to a drunken crowd. Rant over. I realise that partially some of my weight gain was down to me trying to be social. Meals & drinks out etc. I won't be making them mistakes again. Only in moderation. I didn't have a drink nor did I want one. I didn't feel I should explain to anyone why I was drinking so I was annoyed at hubby. Rant over. Sorry. Xxx

I know the feeling my family are round and think I have great will power while they tucked in to the roast, I ate my porridge....then the wine was opened, I found my self saying no 100 times ggrrr

I'm really lucky..my lot tell me I would hate what they're eating...in my heart I know it's not true..but it does help!
Keep strong

This is what I'll miss when I start CD again, I do like going out with my friends and having a drink, will power needed!

My friends are the opposite, they don't try to convince me to drink alcohol, in fact some have offered to stop drinking it while I'm there if it bothers me, which was nice but not necessary. Nor have they accused meof being boring,in fact quite the opposite, they have said that I appear to find them boring once they have had a couple of drinks!
