Alright everyone

    Hi everyone

    I'm 18 and from Hammersmith in London. My ex left me last year and since then I've piled on the pounds and put on so much weight. I went from being a medium shirt size to bordering on extra large now. It depresses me so much to think that no girls find me attractive and I understand why, no one likes being bigger and unfitter then everyone else.

    I came here to just get advice and encourage people - if we all encourage each other we can all do this together and everyones self confidence will be huge. I used to be so confident when I was a normal weight - now I think everyone just laughs at me because how big I am. :copon:

    Anyway I don't have a certain amount of weight I want to lose, I want to get down to a 34 waist size - I'm 38 at the moment :cry: and get back to medium/large shirt size and take it from there.

    Only bad thing is I work away every week so I live in lodgings/hotels most of the time which makes things hard - I don't want to make it awkward for the people who I stay with to cook me a separate dinner every night. I'm also gonna try and give up the beer for a while (this will be HARD considering I'm young, it's the summer and I'm a football fan :sigh: ) but I've seen the amount of calories in a pint and it's unreal. Also being on an apprenticeship wage it's hard to pay for a gym subscription so I will have to do my work outs at home on the weekends.

    Thanks for listening, I'd love to hear everyones advice and good luck to everyone on this forum trying to lose weight.

    I know :( I'm not gonna give up on it though. It might take a bit longer but it will be worth it. I can take control of what I eat in the mornings/afternoons, it's just dinner
