Antibiotics affecting loss?

Has anyone else faced a gain from antibiotics??? WI was this morning and it turns out I've gained 4lb. Yep, 4! After being 100% on plan and totalling 88 syns for the week (check out my diary, I've been on a mission!) - the only possible reason I cam imagine is the antibiotics - any thoughts?? X

I guess its possible, but it's not necessarily them, could be water rentention, not eating enough superfree...i gained 1.5lb and have no reason behind that either.

I also gained when I was on antibiotics so I think its something to do with the way your body fights off the infection that can cause a little weight gain, but look forward to a lose next week.

Mine was spot on too yet i still gained haha. But if you are sure its nothing else I have just read a few things on google that some people said they gained weight when on antibiotics, so it is possible they are causing it.

Yes, antibiotics can play havoc with your system, and the effects may last a while. Just plod along and eventually things will get back to normal. Nothing you can do about it, so don't stress!

Thanks guys, I've calmed down a bit now! Just never imagine taking a few tablets could have SUCH an affect on weight. Thanks for the encouragement - I'm going to stick at it and tell myself it'll all disappear again next week.... X
