Hello,
I'm 19 year old female, at 179cm and, and 6 months ago I went to the doctors for a routine check-up, and the doctor told me that I had a BMI of 31 making me clinically obese. This came as a massive shock to me - I've never been called fat, or worried about my weight. I think I carry my weight well so I'd never worried.
This shocked me so much I decided then and there I'd get healthy. I have gone from 15st 5, to 13st 3 in 6 months. I feel healthier, and better in myself, going from a UK dress size of 18 to a 12. The thing is..I look in the mirror and still feel really fat. I'm like an angel with my diet because I feel so big and that I have to lose more, even though I know that I look okay at the moment. Has anyone else suffered from this?
I'm also struggling to come to terms with the fact I can eat a bit more calorie-wise than I have been to level off my weight-loss and maintain a healthy weight, but I don't know how to address what I eat and get the right intake to stay the weight I am.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
