any ideas people?

Im trying to be good today and sort of make potato gratins - without a jar !!!
would i be right in thinking that i could peel and slice ,then part cook potatoes and leeks and then stir in some fromage fraise and it will sort of turn out the same ....or will i need a bit more to it than that ???LOL
any ideas people or a recipe XX

update on this sort of Gratins thing.........

It doesnt work .....
it was really gross
I mixed potatoes and leeks with a tub of fromage fraise and 2 eggs and put in oven and it was really yuk
OH said .....''I take it that you wont be making that again !!!!''

SW quiche was nice though !!

That sounds fine but to be honest I would add an HEA of parmesan or cheddar.
