Have you tried going onto the SW website and putting in your postcode to find your nearest class? If it doesn't tell you details of special offers it should have the consultants name and phone number, you could give them a ring and ask.
i've found this

oin Slimming World
before 6th March and get
FREE MEMBERSHIP when you buy a 12-week Countdown course (INCLUDES 2 FREE WEEKS) or pay HALF PRICE MEMBERSHIP, a fabulous saving of £5!
After that, introduce a new member to your group and get a WEEK FREE!

so am I right in thinking the first meeting is currently £4.95, plus £5 for half price membership? Have just discovered there's no pct fundng here, and trying to find a way to afford it myself. Also, once you've paid on the first night, can you then do a countdown course from wk 2 onwards? (sorry if this is a hijack of your thread hon :s)

When I joined 6 wks ago the offers were (and as far as I am aware still are):

* half price membership = £5 + £4.95 for meeting = £9.95 payment first week and £4.95 for subsequent weeks
* free membership with 12 week countdown = £49.95 and no payment for the first meeting or the subsequent 11 wks.

If you go for the 12 wk countdown - it is effectively 2 free weeks and free membership. If they have the electronic cards, you need to tell them if you have any planned holidays in those 12 weeks or you still effectively have to pay!
