Anyone else do this?

When I am watching tv and see food on there, I think "Ohhh if i swapped that for this..that would be syn free!" I love watching "Come dine with me" and "Master chef" and things like that as I love to cook, and now I'm finding way around normal dishes to make them SW friendly!

All the time! I use Jamie Oliver cookbooks a lot and always tweak his recipes to SW style. It's normally just a case of no oil and butter and a HEX worth of cheese instead of "handfuls"!

I do this a lot! In most cases it's really easy and it give you a greater variety.

It also helps me feel like i'm not missing out :p

I have just started to do this, if fact i won a Philadelphia cook book yesterday, and while having a look throught that sounds nice, i wonder if i can change it for Quark....

That's a good idea Jack D!

Hey .. I just noticed you are from Hartlepool ... me too! Live in Kent now though.

Grew up in Seaton Carew, then parents moved to west park :)

You?

It's nice redesigning dishes to be syn free / low syn.
