Anyone else weigh at home on a thursday- wanna post?

I've spent the last couple of hours in tears (so i'm going to look good for charity walk at 10pm tonight!). Had an argument with my boyfriend and my weight came into it :cry: I ended up going and buying two weeks worth of slim fast. Now i'm totally on plan and haven't come off it, but do you think i should try a couple of weeks of slim fast to see if i can get the weight coming off any quicker? Or just keep going with SW?

Feeling really rubbish now and need to get myself geed up for this walk, no ones going to walk to walk 8 miles with me with a miserable face on :(

HP, it's got to be your decision but to be honest I think if you're sticking to SW 100% you're doing enough. Slow and steady is the best way to keep it off - and that's coming from someone who did 5 weeks of lipotrim out of desperation. I think that once you are sticking to a diet - and losing any bit at all - that you regain a little control. Be proud of what you've achieved so far and focus on that rather than what's still to be done!!

IMO any diet that involves missing meals is a quick fix thing and will only lead to gaining back any weight lost. Yer losing coz yer clearly not eating enough.. But when u start eating three solid meals a day yer body will kick in to 'defend' itself and store the food in prepartion for the next time its being starved.. Ur doing brilliantly on SW hun.. Its a slow process for us all and it gets really tough sometimes but as smurf said, if ya stick to it 100% n do it the healthy way.. its enough :D Big hugs..Hope u feel better soon xx

Thanks pebs but I think it's gonna take me a while to get there lol :)

As for ideas, exercise still of course,fresh fruit and veg,and maybe dig out some sw recipes that you have'nt tried yet and post them on here so we can all try ????

Anytime :) We always have guests i like it that way x. Ooh i duno where they've gone, i can still c them. Maybe it's a technical gremlin, don't get it wet or feed it after midnight or it will reproduce!! Lol
 
Evening ladies.
Thank you for the advice and of course I know you're right, you know what its like when you're upset, it just all seems hopeless. I will continue with sw after all I'm doing this for me, and not at a speed other people think I should be losing at!

Just snuggled down after charity walk. We started at 10pm and finished at 12.30 Could have done it quicker but mum & her friend couldn't walk any quicker and I thought it was more important that we finished all together. We walked to and from the event, so 8 miles plus getting there and back. Feet are a bit tired but it was for a very good cause.
