Anyone else weigh at home on a thursday- wanna post?

Gosh what a lot to catch up on. Welcome scooby, I loooove Dubai, stayed there in jumeirah beach a few years ago and cant wait to get back.

Had a fab day yesterday , we went to kings cross on the various trains and tubes to take my two little ones to platform 9 3/4. For those non Harry potter people, it's the platform used in Harry potter films to get to hogwarts school of wizardry. They have actually made a place for the kids to visit and its priceless. I took my , now 15 yr old when he was little , and now the little ones are fascinated by the films books etc. so it was their turn. They loved it. We then sat in the station and had a coffee. The kids all had sandwiches and I had a pack of boots shapers sushi which was 97 cals so 5 syns . I was on EE day but wasn't sure if sushi featured as free or not so I'm counting it as syns anyway.

Came back and had sticky chicken with a wrap ( 6 syns) and some Thai couscous. The chicken is really nice and I'm going to try it with salmon next . Recipe is of course on our grub thread . Really nice day .

Dinner tonight

Just had the chicken tikka biryanI from the new mag,and had a small bowl of Mayflower curry sauce on the side with a cheeky popadom !

Hi thanks all for making me so welcome. You are such a cheerful bunch :) . My mouth watering at that egg sandwich - I can't wait until breakfast now. Its 11pm here and I can't tell you how much time I spend reading and getting to grips with it all so am feeling a bit overwhelmed. We all went for lunch today and the choice of food wasn't great so ended up just eating a green salad but felt hungry - so came home and ate all my syns straight away. Made myself a scrummy dinner - tuna steak with SW chips and veg. I will become more adventurous ! Am getting comments from family - like "should you be eating that if you are on a diet". Well lets see what the scales say eh! I am having about 10 syns a day on extra easy. I am eating a lot but a bit worried about my portion size. I know its 1/3rd super free but I have big plates ha ha so might have over done it on the SW chips. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I would like to try the Planking challenge, but I suffer with my knee too. Most of the time it is OK, but cos I had a virus over Christmas, the athritis has flared up and my leg looks like a tree trunk (an even bigger tree trunk than normal :p). So I am going to wait until it settles down, and just empathise with all your aching.
Just doing gentle walking at the mo....

My leg constantly looks like a tree trunk Yvonne,but at 43 they say I am far too young for a knee replacement,which is what I need :(
