Anyone else weigh at home on a thursday- wanna post?

Been docs and apparently I have a virus!!!
It has knocked the stuffing right out of me, but feeling tiny bit better today , so that's a good sign .

Dubs that piccy was taken in Turkey in may, wish my hair still looked like that, the person who cuts my hair decided about 4 wks ago that she would use thinning scissors on my fringe and I have now had to get it recur so short because my straightners keep frizzing it !

Needless to say why I thought I looked hideous the other night, I have brought a hat to wear till it grows !!!!!!

Work today and what a busy one, patients everywhere .
Red day today - had muesli mixed with tesco fat free blueberry yogurt for breakfast.
Lunch was a piece of cold chicken cake, 2 picnic eggs (0.5 syn for 2) and a rocket salad with tomatoes, cucumber and a babybel sliced on top plus a squirt of salad cream (1 syn)

Dinner tonight was chicken provençal from SW mag oct 2012 and it was 'ok' not a huge fan . Was watery so I used tbsp corn flour (1 syn for 3rd of dish) I cooked it as stated has 4 for 40 mins and no way was it cooked so I put it back for another 25 and it was better but veg still hard so it went in for longer on higher. Lots of veg left over so blitzed it up and made a pasta sauce for freezer

Pudding was a cherry muller but as fridge is playing up its freezing everything and it made a beautiful ice cream out of my yogurt. Then settled down to watch tv with a cuppa and a slice of fruit tealoaf with a scrape of Marg lovely

Morning my little snufflers. Happy weigh in day.
Some slack being given to you two poorly puppies as its hard to stay on plan when you're feeling ghastly . Me on the other hand have no excuse so I've been hard on myself but actually really enjoyed the weeks food and not got hungry so I've had no bad raiding moments.

Loss for me this week is 2lb so I'm chuffed to bits . That's 5lb in 2 wks. I need 2 lb this week to get down into 12's again. Was feeling great at 12'2 a few months back so that's my first goal .

Usual day at work for me, plus a bit of planning for this week for our gang. Christmas is closing up on us so I want to give you some opportunity to share some ideas on how we will cope with temptation and give you some easy recipe ideas to make life simpler and waistbands smaller . Good luck to weighers xxx
 
Well done Pebs. Yep still on recovery road ta. Tho now hav a cold sore breaking thru just under my nose. Always get one after a cold :( But am feeling 98% better so it's all good.
Had nandos yesterday for dinner. All counted! Been good n on plan all week so am hopeful for a loss

Pebs, or probably more Tracy... Am thinking of attempting a Christmas cake.. Will have LOADS of time off the next 2 weeks to do it.. But was wondering if you have any yumtastic recipes???

and me and me ...........please. i usually make nigella lawsons chocolate christmas cake. its fruit but has some choc in it too. but i'd be grateful for yours too trace.

glad youre both on the mend (ish) and well done tracy for sts thats an acheivement to be proud of. and as for ol missus house mover , i am so jealous of the nandos now - oh my god i want one. and i get 20% off NHS discount - what am i waiting for?? oh yeah more weight loss ! silly me.

breakfast - cereal and yogurt usual work day breakkie - or well it would have been if i hadnt left it at home - derrrrrrr!
SO I HAD AN APPLE - YIPPEEEEE

then lunch - and i remembered that at least. thank god or i'd be trying out the insides of my cheeks for nutrition.

lunch was ...... oh yeah green day by the way
lunch was ......gorgeous..........

carrot and coriander soup, - free
2 sweet potato cakes - oh my word - delish every time - free on green
2 cheese scones - (died , gone to heaven, sitting on a cloud licking an aero) - free on green
muller yogurt - free
apple - free
orange kitkat - 5 1/2 syns. ( actually will be having that with my cup of tea at 330)

lovely yum, delicious.

tonight i finish at 445 then its home quick change out of nurse uniform and into smart casual for my family planning clinic session 545 - 8. then hopefully if not too many patients i will be home by 815 and sort out tea which i cooked tues.
spinach and potato curry, savoury rice, and minted lamb chops. then ive enough syns for a piece of fruit tealoaf and low fat custard. whoopie doo i love being organised - why doesnt that happen every week.

Simply Filly Day
I had porridge for brekkie (30g, made with water and 10g raisins) - 1pp
I had a brown WW roll with chicken, gherkin, red onion and ex low fat mayo for lunch - free
And dinner will either be a veg packed omplette OR peppered chop with half turnip half potato mash and mixed veg - free

Not very organised but yesterday evening was spent getting clothes ready for work today as I was out earlier than normal seen as I had to go to the hospital before work for bloods... And then getting ready to, then going, on my Puppy walk :D
 
You look so different .

Just cooked a pasta dish for tomoro.
I did it in the slow cooker on high for 5 hrs . It's a recipe by 'bunnylush'

A full pack of small vine tomatoes ( or any) put into Slo cooker . squash a little to break skins.

Add A chopped garlic clove

A big slosh or 5 tbsp balsamic vinegar

I leave mine on low all day or half a day. In oven I'm guessing 45 mins to hour?

When ready to eat ,boil pasta,drain, throw into SC. to soak up juice. Serve and eat with a spoon or your chasing pasta. It's so so tasty.'

I added some chopped chorizo and stirred through it was gorgeously tasty .

Morning ladies..

STS for me this week.. But diappointed as was really hopeful for a loss but I did have Nando's on Wednesday and not had much "movement" this week.. And more importantly... Its not a gain.. So here's to another week...

Still quite stuffed but more or less back to normal.. Tho I was back at the doc this morning as from blowing my nose the skin has dried out and i've got a maHOOsive cold sore on my nose n upper lip.. So I went to get oral zovirax to fight it.. I'd usually let it run its course but I know its a baddy..
 
Oh yea and..... I just drove by my (new) house and the sticker has gone to SOLD!!!! Yayyy... So excited i could burst..
And our solicitors office received our cheque from the bank this morning so all is ready to go :D
