Anyone else weigh at home on a thursday- wanna post?

So just got to work after my weigh in and I have gained 2 pounds. It's 'star' week and in fairness I have had two curry nights out this week so im not massively surprised but I am quite upset.

Now the rational part of my brain knows that i am upset due to it being 'star' week so give me an hour and I will be back to being focused and ready to get back on plan for the week but for that hour I am avoiding going near any chocolate because if I see it I will trough!

Hope everyones really well and less insanely emotional than I am. Does anyone have this months SW mag near them btw? I am looking for the recipe for the cod and cherry tomatoes in case I have forgotten to get any ingredients?

I do... Ingredients areL 600g potatoes, peeled and cubed. Fry Light. 4 thick skinless & boneless cod fillets. Steamed runner beans, cut into lengths, to serve. A small handful of fresh basil, finely shredded, to garnish. Lemon wedges, to serve.
For the sauce: 2 garlic cloves. 1 onion, finely chopped. 1/2 tsp dried red chilli flakes. 2 x400g cans cherry tomatoes in juice. 1 tbsp veg stock concentrate. salt & freshly ground pepper :D

Don't worry about your gain.. As you say, it'll be star week and the undigested curries.. Start a new week n just wait for that loss next week :D

Hey everyone, well done Pebs, that's great! I'm down 1.5 which I'm really happy with - I wasn't as good as I could have been, in that I overdid the hex b's a little! No real exercise either. It's been a slightly nutty week though, so hopefully this week will be calmer!!

hi girls, i started slimming world from home (living in Spain and there aren't any classes) yesterday (so Thursday will also be my weigh in day) wondered if i could join you?
Of course you can.. welcome.. But, what's yer name coz I will not address you as "fatty"...

Well said dubs, me too, welcome Bex to the nutty gang.

Fab fab fab smurfy that's great.

Ok gang what challenges do you want? My challenge to you this week is to name a challenge for the group. Something that you would like us all to try. So my challenge for the group :-

to try a new recipe this week. - It's easy to get stuck in a rut, using the same old recipes and see the weight loss tail off, so tweak things a little by boosting your metabolism by trying something new with ingredients that maybe you don't usually have on a regular basis. I tried a new thing tonight the ' red thai prawn and mango curry' it was delicious. I wouldn't normally include fruit with savoury dishes but nigella s recipe was absolutely divine.
