Smurfy clare is beautiful and 6 already I can't believe it either. What a great mannered girl she sounds. Happy birthday Boxing Day to her.
And yes I'd do anything to stop their pain , horrid isn't it. Thankfully today she's much better and stopped bleeding now so that's good, she's managing weetabix and lukewarm tea with a straw.

Happy belated birthday to your son Tracy, sorry I missed it. And that cake sounds divine. Next birthday I'm sending a padded envelope round for some. You know I'm messing wi you about that pound. You and I are like carbon copies, you know we'd be absolutely no good as neighbours lol, we'd be running in and out of each others with snacks to try.

Oh oh I have to tell you trace I got a ceramic frying pan 2 weeks ago and keep forgetting to tell you, I love it! It's a revolution, no scrubbing, definitely no sticking. Just washed out with a wet sponge and hey presto good as new. Gadget number 778 .


Happy early birthday arby, good luck with avoiding the cake but I'm sure if it does get irresistible then a small piece will be within 15 syns ( just! ) ?

Ahh bless her . Don't be worrying about diet! You will shed lbs just being tired, busy, juggling etc and your metabolism a still sorting itself out after pregnancy. you're doing just fine .
Listen, just seen your post on the other thread, I don't go there much as its your own friends / support etc but you know you can always pm me if you need to. It's kinda normal ( his reaction) but not if you know what I mean, basically it's v common , although not nice, they don't 'get it' they don't have quite the same bond As us. They often get frustrated cos they can't come up with the answers, yet we can . They feel awkward and helpless and often say and act in stupid ways and as you've pointed out - that's men for ya. They really test your patience some times much more than the kids do. He will come into his own as she gets older, that's when the dad stuff really starts . I understand how you feel and I'm sorry you gotta dash out to avoid him. Lets hope he comes in and makes up for it in some way or its gonna be a long bank hol weekend for you . Sending hugs xx

It could have been so much worse! I had a scone but threw on tons of strawberries. I have 3 big chunks of cake sat in my kitchen now though


Feeling a bit rubbish today though and well me and Toby have not long woke from a 2hour nap!!! Oops looks like bedtime will have to be shuffled later tonight! Got to dash he is chasing the dog around the front room

Thanks pebs. He has apologised. To me and Eabha!! He knows he was wrong n has said that it was really coz he didn't kno how to "fix it"
He does get frustrated n think she doesn't like him coz when is take her she settles quicker etc... Have tried explaining she can sense his nervousness n his upset n that's why. I guess I need to remember we're all learning...
He's barely let me near her since he finished work. Think it's his way of making up to her

Dubs that's great, it's a start and you'll still be mad at him but at least he sees he went wrong , some don't. Look here's a tip i used to tell my 'dads' when they felt they were useless .
Get him to run a bath for himself and jump in. Then when the water has gone cooler ( safe for eabha ) hand her to him, get him to lie back and let him lie her on his chest and splash water gently on her or trickle it with a sponge. She'll love it and so will he - it's a great ' bonder' xxx

Morning all , yesterday's menu -

What's everyone up to this weekend? I've got my kids and stepsons today although Lauren's not too bright and energetic today so I might have to prise her off the sofa and out of the onesie to the local park so she can sit and have a drink and watch the boys running around and the world go by .
Tomorrow not sure what we are doing yet will depend on miss lollipop. It's a beautiful warm sunny day here , hope the weathers good where you are. Have a great weekend . Water! Fruit, water, fruit !!!!!!

No plans here for today except to go find my little miss a st Patrick's day outfit!! Tomoro we have christening (Jonathan's cousins baby) n Monday... No idea!!

Just got back in from taking Toby and the dog for a walk not sure who enjoyed it more! Quiet afternoon now watching rubgy and catching up on housework.
Then its my birthday tomorrow so going out for some lunch with mum and sister and thats about it!
Can't seem to get full again today not at all helpful when I am trying a no syn day after yesterdays cake! X

Arby I am the same, I have been picking at all sorts of things to fill me up to avoid eating something forbidden .

I've had tea coffee, breakfast was omelette and bacon





Then I had more tea and then couldn't wait to make lunch -
Had a fake corned beef pasty ( ww pitta filled with corned beef, carrots, potato and onions ) very yummy






Then I made kids pitta pizzas and there was a half left over so I nibbled on that and I'm only supposed to have 1b so that's 3 syns, then I had a raspberry jelly with raspberries in







2 pink and white mallows that's another 5 syns plus the jelly 0.5 I think . Will have to drag madam out I think or I'll go over syns . Xxxx

Ive just been stood making a fish pie to portion and freeze for my monkey just to keep me going. Have since made up some jelly and some angel delight (for him to try at tea time!)
Have so far managed to keep it to a second banana/ a muller and half a punnet of grapes! Off to make some quark/ sweetener mix so i can eat that with berries after tea tonight x

Hello everyone.
Hope you have all had a good day.
Yesterday I was on plan right up until last night !!!!
I had to go back to the school last night and help out at their bingo night(I am on the fundraising committee),and didn't get n till around 9,and by then didn't fancy the lasagne I had cooked before I went,so ended up having a sarnie and crisps and a Muller crunch corner,which to be honest I didn't enjoy
Today has been ok,but I did have a spoon of hubbys pie he had for dinner,woops!!!!!!
We took the Littles to the pound cinema club this morning and saw Frozen,which was really good,and tomorrow we are are taking the birthday boy bowling and then McDonalds,as that is what he chose.
Today I also sorted out the shed in the garden,and hubby moved it !

You know I mentioned my sister forgot my sons birthday,well after I had left for bingo last night,some cards were dropped through my letterbox from her,and there was a voicemail on my phone saying could I ring her !!
Well over text I told her what I thought,and I think she was probably shocked as usually I don't say boo to a goose,and am generally easy going,but I have just had enough of her,and I think we can safely say we are NOT on speaking terms,which suits me just fine !!!!!
