Anyone on Steriods?

Hey, just wanted to know If anyone here is on steriods? For anything in particular? How are you finding your weight loss?

I use an inhaler sometimes which is steroid based and it doesn't affect my weight loss at all.

If you are talking about prednisolone for asthma, then I don't think you would be losing anything! In fact, I doubt you could diet on them at all, as your tummy lining would be very vulnerable without food.
I spent about 15years on them, only need one or 2 courses a year now; they saved my life but the side effects are horrific.

If you are talking about prednisolone horrific

I lost 13 kilos last year and had an allergic reaction to something and was prescribed the above mentioned, spawn of satin!, and within 3 days gained 3 kilos during my refeed and then in the next week 3 kilos followed. I can only say unless you are really suffering from what ever it is dont take them.

They do come in 2 strengths - 2.5mg and 25mg I was on the later.

Thanks guys, it is Prednisolone and I NEED it. My dose has been upped to 20mg...(4 of the 5mg ) one's a day. I don't know what to do!
