I just buy any old stuff and cut all the fat off. I don't know if that's officially the right way to do it but it seems to work for me.

I don't really want to pay extra money for the healthy eating bacon because that seems to be just bacon that Tesco have trimmed themselves!

I only eat smoked turkey rashers by Mattesons...Have you tried them? They are really nice and not an atom of fat in them...

Bought the bacon yesterday from aldi and it looked quite lean, but being very good I got the scissors out and sat and cut off all the visible fat. I couln't believe the pile of cuttings I had and they actually weighed just over 50gms. So don't be fooled by lean looking bacon, cut it off.xx
