As far as I know, if you just cut all the visible fat off, it's free. I don't tend to buy the extra lean stuff as it looks the same - they've just done the cutting instead of me. I just cut the fat off and am doing ok, but doesn't mean I'm right!
I know if you don't cut the fat off, it's 2 syns per 28g.
