As far as I know, if you just cut all the visible fat off, it's free. I don't tend to buy the extra lean stuff as it looks the same - they've just done the cutting instead of me. I just cut the fat off and am doing ok, but doesn't mean I'm right!

I know if you don't cut the fat off, it's 2 syns per 28g.

Hopefully someone else might be able to give a more definite answer - sorry!

yep, any bacon is free if you cut the fat off. This is not easy with streaky bacon!!!!!!!

I buy back bacon from my butchers, sometimes it's really lean, sometimes I have to cut lots of fat off but it's free all the same!!

If you cut every bit of fat off before cooking, it tastes just like ham to me, and it's not nearly as nice! I only buy british bacon now since the jamie oliver programme.
