    Can someone tell me is any bacon free if i cut the fat off or just extra lean bacon?

    As far as I know, if you just cut all the visible fat off, it's free. I don't tend to buy the extra lean stuff as it looks the same - they've just done the cutting instead of me. I just cut the fat off and am doing ok, but doesn't mean I'm right!

    I know if you don't cut the fat off, it's 2 syns per 28g.

    Hopefully someone else might be able to give a more definite answer - sorry!

    yep, any bacon is free if you cut the fat off. This is not easy with streaky bacon!!!!!!!

    I buy back bacon from my butchers, sometimes it's really lean, sometimes I have to cut lots of fat off but it's free all the same!!

    you could still have it as a hexb on green - if you weigh out the amount it says in the book it's actually quite a lot! I was pleasantly surprised!

    If you cut every bit of fat off before cooking, it tastes just like ham to me, and it's not nearly as nice! I only buy british bacon now since the jamie oliver programme.
