    Hi all :wavey:

It's our sons football presentation this afternoon and a BBQ is the order of the day along with drinks :party0051:

Now do I use Flexi Syns or try to choose the "best" choice?

As I'm doing Extra Easy I am planning to have a substantial breakfast before going to the football match this morning eg Bacon, Toast (2 x 400g wholemeal bread) as HEXB, Beans, Mushrooms & Tomatoes.

We will not be back home until 1:30pm so as the BBQ starts at 3pm there will not be time to eat anything else before we go.

Do you have any suggestions please? :)

Hope the weather is nice for you! As you're doing EE go for the salads, pasta or rice if there's any before burgers and sausages because even with sauce the syns will add up slower. Rolls are highly synned so will quickly add up, I'd try and ignore them if I were you. Can you take stuff along to throw on the BBQ? If so I'd take some low syn sausages if not then flexi-syn, personally I'd use both flexi syns and make good choices. This way you enjoy the extra syns but still use some control.

    Thanks Laura

I had already made a decision to give the rolls/baps a miss but I will go for pasta if it's available, hopfeully there's salad to munch on

Unfortunately I don't know what food is being prepared so just going to be careful, although I may have a glass of wine (first alcoholic drink since March).

The weather is gloomy here so fingers crossed it will brighten up for this afternoon.

    Thanks again! :)
