Wants to be a loser!
The main staple in beanfeast is a soya-based mince - if you like soya mince chances are you will like beanfeast. However, if you are not a fan of soya mince stay away!

I practically lived off beanfeast as a student in view of it being a really cheap and cheerful source of protein. Mind you I always stuck to the chilli rather than the spag bol as the heat of the chilli helped to cover up the distinctive aftertaste of the soya mince ;) - not sure if the chilli variety is syn free though?

I think it is about 90p-£1 a sachet and this will usually serve two - worth a try me thinks.

A word of warning though ........ beanfeast can cause devil wind :giggle:

to be honest I would rather have the real thing - made to a SW recipe of course, but I can understand why people who don't wish to eat meat might be interested in it as a replacement..

What about Quorn ? is that not an option for you ?
