been in tears all day help

well its day 3 on cd and im finding it really hard just want something to eat so bad, ive been in tears must of the day and cant seem to get on with anything.

Ive also just had a huge row with my mum she telling me it just food and i dont need it like i needed to hear that **** of her so not happy and dont know what to do

It gets a lot better from now on.. i promise.. first 3ish days are the hardest.. then its over.. and you can sail on..

awww hun, dont worry its normal and ok to have the odd down moments/days. I had them the first time I did CD (last Feb) just generally feeling a bit pants for the first 5 or 6 days and wanting to stay in bed all day feeling sorry for myself. But once your body and brain are fully used to it you will be ok. It is hard to cut out all conventional foods as it affects so many areas of our lives, but the results are worth it... ultimately you can only succeed on this diet if you want to lose weight more than you want the social life and the feelings that food bring. It's hard, but do-able! Check out the photo inspiration thread on the main forum if you haven't already- it will make u feel really inspired and motivated to stick with it when you see how many VLCDers have got to goal (and look fantastic with it!).

The girls are right. It is the first few days that are the hardest. Don't even take it one day at a time, just hour by hour. You will get there.x

Awwwwwww Ashley (thats my daughters name too :)).....day 3 was bloody awful for me to honey.....but once day 4 started I felt like a new woman.......just wait 'til ketosis kicks in and you will feel so much better I promise!
Just drink stacks of water, go on-line monitor shopping for clothes you will wear when you reach your goal and get yourself a nice hot bath and an early night!
Tomorrow will be so much better for you....honestly!

I totally understand - I posted a very similar thread not long ago ready to throw it all in but the advice and support I got here got me through - tomorrow is another day and you will feel soooo good waking up and knowing that you dealt with it.

It does get better but we all still have good days and bad, some days pass and food has not even bothered me but then another one comes when I could eat my own daughter lol. But the feeling of getting up the next day knowing you were in control is the best!!

arrrhhh thanks everyone i know itll go but still feel crap, cold and hungry. think ill just have a bath and go to bed before i eat something lol

Hi Ashley... I had a lot of early nights during the first week as I found it hard, you are probably tired also. You could wake up feeling much better. Just take it one day at a time till it gets easier, which it will.

Dont give up hun, i was the same on my fifth day (think my ketosis took longer) i also had people telling me its only food!
Its worth it!!
I find reading trashy magazines gets me through the hours of cravings, been doing it all day as trying to get back into it myself after 5 day cheat week!

I hope you're feeling better soon. Once day 3/4 is over the hunger should subside and you'll feel great. Keep it up. Hugs and cuddles. Remember you're worth it. x

Ashley I can sooooooooo sympathise I was feeling so teary on week one and thought I couldn't go on but thanks to the support on here I did and lost 12 + 1/2 lbs in my 1st wk so keep going hun honest its mind over matter xxxxxxxx

AWWWW Hun! I had lots of long soaks in the bath and early nights the first week (I was on Lipotrim....so still SSing). It is really tough at first, but get through the first week to weigh in and that will be all the motivation you need. In a couple of days things will get much easier. COME ON KETOSIS!!!

Stick with it love, your doing so well.
