Berry's diary

Hmmm weekend was definitely not to plan but could have been worse.

Scales are not looking good AT ALL though- eeeeeek

Have had 327 today so far but going to a birthday dinner this evening so that won't help. Its predominantly a pizza place but I haved looked at the menu and am planning on having an avocado salad and sea bass carpaccio which should be well under 700 calories.

Back to the gym for all classes Tues-Thurs and have healthy dinners all planned out. Then I have another friend's birthday party on friday which is dinner at an italian resturant and then a cocktail making thing so going to be a high one.

Going to try and ignore the scales for a bit and really pour myself into the gym, ab belt and try and do a 10 min evening toning/stretching routine.

Cocktail making class sounds brill!!!
It is difficult to have so many events that might slip you up but I would feel so happy to have so many friends!!
Sometimes it's best to ignore the scales and concentrate more on how u feel and if your clothes are startin to pinch!!
But have a lovely week :):):)

You are in a very good place as you are planning your week for damage limitation rather than sod it I might has well eat everything - which a nasty cycle i find myself in

Cocktail making sounds fun - just stick to the lower cal fruit juice ones rather than those with baileys, pina colada and other creamy stuff

LadyJo - you are funny - but I must admit i would be hard pushed to fill a room lol!

Ahh thanks guys ! I have decided to relax a little through March as I could feel myself getting "weightloss fatigue" so I want to concentrate on maintaining below 135 as near to 130 as poss. Have my cals nearer 1400-1500 for a few weeks and have a restart in April.

Yesterdays food

Rice cakes 60
Blueberries 53
Special k biscuits 196

Mini eggs 735???

I did boxing class at the gym last night which was really good as usual, then I have circuits tonight.

As the mornings are getting light now, I have decided to try and do 3x morning runs before work in the park behind my house. Starting at 3 laps then trying to add a lap every week or every two weeks. Will see how I get on :)

Do u think u put too much stress in yourself by trying to cut out chocolate completely? You are right to relax and take it easy till u can face it again x

Yes I think so T2G as its since then its all gone downhill!!!! I think I am better when I can factor in a little choc as a treat especially at the moment when all my favourites (mini eggs and those little smarties chicks) are everywhere in the shops. Plus it was making me turn to sweets/cakes for a sugar hit which I don't even enjoy that much which is totally pointless. Its weird though, before I started calorie counting I was honestly never that bothered about chocolate but a massive crisps fiend, now I barely ever have crisps but seem to have tons more choc!

I'm focusing on still eating 80-90% clean and healthy and factoring in a little treat a day if I need it, so usually this will be a bit of choc or an icecream in the evening.

How are you?

Sounds good berry better to try maintaining than gaining...xxx

I think that is a good idea. Stop regroup and start again.

I'm doing ok, going along quietly. Trying to get back to where I was before I lost it! Think I am just about there now :) and then I can start loosing again x

Well done for keeping at it t2g- I'm going to do as you suggest and just keep plugging away and then once I have my mojo back do a blitz at some point!

Gym done- circuits class was full so my pal and I did our own circuits for an hour. Intervals on treadmill - then cross trainer- then mix of squats, lunges, press ups, abs etc etc

Made Thai green fish curry for dinner

Just about to tuck in :)

Looks lovely! One day it will all click into place again :) x

Thanks guys - I think the fresh coriander makes it look fancy :)

So decided not to weigh now til the end of the month. I am pretty certain I won't make my 126 (9st) target for Easter but I'd like to be back below 130 if at all possible. Anyway going to leave it this week and next and least and then see how I feel.

I have the gym this eve, three classes: boxing, body pump and body balance - then this evenings meal homemade lean pork meatballs in tomato sauce - I will skip the pasta and maybe have it on quinoa or just with spinach depending how hungry I am.

Just had a croissant and cappuccino for breakfast treat. Very nice and have my veg and fruit lunch so my plan for the day is still within calories. I thought it better to have the special breakfast today rather than tomorrow when I am eating out again at an Italian for friend's birthday.

Feeling perky because of the sunshine. So tired dragging myself out of bed this morning though. Planning on doing my runs in the park from next week - think that will help get me in the mindset.

Thanks guys I am definitely nearing the end of the "weightloss" and approaching toning/fitness improvement territory. I still have a few excess pounds to lose from my tum and thighs though I think, but I know I haven't got far to go so that's why I am going to ease up for a bit and take things slow.

I do feel like I have changed my life style now and its sustainable so I think even if the last few pounds take a few months it doesn't really matter as long as I keep exercising regularly, eating healthily 90% time and having treats now and then :) I don't want to become a person who worries all the time about what the scales say and just feel happy in my skin.

Good attitude berry :) xxx

Such a delicious dinner last night

Home made meatballs in tomato sauce.
Bf had his with spinach and spaghetti , I had mine with extra spinach and quinoa. Topped with dollop of cottage cheese and some Parmesan! Yum!

image-1511450156.jpg

The meatballs were just lean minced pork, coriander, tsp djon mustard and seasoning and an egg to bind. Sauce was tinned toms, garlic, red onion and seasoning. 400 cals
