just thought i would start my first diary not sure what to say or where to start so i will start with a simple hello to everyone.

struggled with my weight for years with having pcos and underactive thyroid. on and off anti-d's all the time and need to get my myself better in more ways than one.

struggle with dieting / healthy eating cause when i feel low i eat for england and i find it so hard to get past that once i have done it.

am currently doing ww at home as i cant afford the costs to go group so it would be great to get some support. my starting weight is 235.2 and i'll be weighing in on mondays. if you could i would appreciate as much help and guidance as possible as i know i am too weak to do it alone.

thanks guys and sorry for being so morbid.

    Hi claire
im a newbie on this site and I have lots and lots to lose. I dont think you should be so hard on yourself losing weight is hard and sometimes impossible (for me anyway) but i think your in the right frame of mind to lose its just getting day 1 over.. I am trying to just do 1 day at a time and not beat myself up if i slip up as im only human.
Try to be kinder to yourself this is a journey and there will be day s you slip but what matters is the end journey that matters. Hell if this dieting lark was easy then weight watcher and others would be bankrupt:D
so you had a bad day its only a step along the way just start again
I hope that helps and you can chat to me anytime you like
    take care

    Hey Claire,
I know how you feel. Whenever I feel down I eat too! Which is doesn't make any sense as then I feel so much worse. If you want any support I am here cos I could do with some support too! Maybe if you set a mini goal I always find that easier! I am going to start WW tomorrow and do it at home. I don't like meetings one bit! Good luck :)

    hi Claire
why don't you make a mini goal of just one meal at a time rather than looking and fearing the long journey ahead. once you ahve accomplished a few meals in a row, move on to one day at a time. Mark them off in a diary so you see when you go off the rails you may have had more good meals than bad meals.xx
