Bread and Cereals on Slimming World

Please help?
Usually I could go through just over half a box of cereal mainly special K shreddies or cheerios then start on the bread but since starting on slimming world have completely cut these out as clearly the bread and cereal was making me gain alot. Does bread and butter and alot of cereal do this if you eat nothing but cause I'm having problems eating veggies.
Please help?
 
Breads, butters, cereals are all fattening unless eaten in moderation. Eating nothing else other than bread is bad. I'm a carb addict but I've found a select few veggies I can eat, I eat lots of muller light yoghurts and fruit and I have 1 brown bread sandwich OR some porridge everyday (but not both). If you must eat those things, get the brown, wholegrain alternative and very light low fat butter. I lost over a stone in a month on SW by eating loads of fruit veggies, one sandwich a day, maybe a fry up in the morning with no toast and had a sandwich for lunch. You just need to get the balence :)
