breakfast Ideas

Hi all

I am new to slimming world. Started on Tuesday 2 October 2012. I am 15st 11lbs hoping to achieve a goal weight of 12st. I have PCOS and we are trying to have a baby but my specialist explains i needto lose 3st by the end of january :( This is only to receive some ovulation medication. I know, a nightmare right...

Anyway i would love to hear your breakfast ideas.. i am struggling a little to come up with some delicious recipes that are easy and will fill me up till lunchtime.

Could you also tell me how you have got on with Slimming World and whether you have any medical condition ??

Hey, I find my breakfast options somewhat limited, just because I am awkward. Obviously you can eat as much fruit as you like, and if you eat dairy, fat free yoghurt etc. I don't like using up all my healthy extras for breakfast, so today I tried quinoa porridge for the first time, it was actually pretty good and VERY filling. I'm definitely going to make a habit of it :)
 
I nearly always use my "b" for 2 slices of wholemeal toast from a 400g loaf. If I'm going to work I have it topped with banana as its quick. If I'm not and I'm feeling like a bigger breakfast I have the toast with a sw fried egg, bacon, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes

Or beans on toast with a piece of fruit for the superfree

I have cereal and fruit if at work, if not i like a sw fry up with lots of superfree or i'll have fruit and then something on toast, today it's tinned sardines in tomato sauce. I too have PCOS and have been at very healthy weights lots of times in my life, it's very do-able, the issue for me is keeping it off! I can't contribute that to any medical condition! :rolleyes:
 
I lost 10 stone 3 years back by having a gastric bypass as I wanted a baby. I have pros and hirsuitism and now I have lots little other conditions such as hypoglycemia, ibs and allergies all caused by the bypass.
I had a baby 2 years ago and my weight has slowly crept up. I am now 3 stone heavier than I should be and I joined slimming world last week. I want another baby.

Hi, if you have time an omlette is lovely... I tend to stick to red days so I out some meat in. You could also top with mozerella and use it as your HEXA

Egg
Mushroom
Tomato
Onion
Garlic
Peppers
Ham / bacon

Also a fruit bowl with muller light is lovely, but on these frosty mornings it's nice to have something warm in your tummy.

I nearly always have the thin lizzy sausages on hexb toast.
 
Good luck with it all. You're in the right place for support! As for breakfast eggs most days for me lol
 
For brekkie I have 2 weetabix with different fruits, mainly strawberries tho and then tip a muller light yoghurt over the top x the weetabix stay quite crunchy with the yoghurt and it tastes a million times better than soggy weetabix with milk, yuck!
 
Anybody got any breakfast ideas that don't involve using HEXB on green or red days... Apart from Muller Light & fruit.
I like to keep my HEXB for lunch & dinner.... mmm now when I think of ot I wonder has that got anything to do with my slow loss :eek:
