I hope so, thank you :) those teething powders seem to work!

It is horrible to see them in pain. Charles started at about 7/8 weeks. He is currently teething at the moment, grrr!!!Teething powder, calpol, bonjela and anesol all work for Charles. They also say carrot sticks work but Charles for the love of money will not eat them no matter how many times. He is so stubborn at times, lol

Jacob is 17 weeks but started teething a couple of weeks ago, so like 15 weeks? It can vary between babies, some babies don't get any teeth until they're 12 months old or older, and some babies can be born with teeth!!

Thanks, my first had her teeth come thru from 4 months, remember a painful 2 hour drive (in traffic) home where she cried whole journey &I couldn't comfort her. 2 weeks later her first tooth popped out.

Not keen on breastfeeding when Daniel starts teething. He,already pulls on and off never mind adding teeth to the mix. It was no trouble to Amy but, she, was better feeder I think.

Lol my Daniel does that too hes too nosey! I went to the breastfeeding specialist for advice. She said if hes latched correctly then he cant bite its only when hes ready to stop, tired or distracted that his position will change and bite though not on purpose....ha i dunno cos he smiles at me when hes done it lol! She also said try not to react just say STOP and put him down. Hes only done it once since

I fed Amy to over a year and she never once but me. By then she had 8-10 teeth. My Daniel tho is latched on but then its like he wants it faster so he pulls & twists, then goes off. He then might bob on and off for abt 5 mins taking few sucks each time. I fer frustrated and my let down reflex doesn't work effectively. This is when I think he will bite down. Am not sure I will just be able to say no, my finger will be in there trying to get him off

lost half a pound this week which i'm really pleased with considering the amount I ate and drank at our anniversary meal on Thursday! :) xx

Geordie.....Daniel started all that around 4 mth as well as beating at my boobs like he wasnt getting enough! I felt awful that i wasnt producing enough. In the end i started giving him baby porridge n he calmed down. Think it was his way of saying he needed food lol!

Im starting solids next wk as Hollie is 5 mths and she's really teething at moment!

I've already stock up on baby cereals, they've gone up alot in 2 yrs! I will mainly be cooking my own food, once we get going. So any meal ideas will be very welcome!

How's all the mummies and babies xx

Basically anything I cook for us I blend for Charlie, but to start with I gave him puréed apples, pears and peaches, I then moved on to veggies butternut squash, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower, sweet potato

Just batch cooked them, froze in ice cube trays then transferred to labelled bags to be able to grab a cube or 2 and mix up flavours! Apple and parsnip was a big hit mixed together! Now if I make a stew, bolognese etc I blitz some and freeze the same way then I have full meals and can heat however many ice cubes he is eating! Hope this helps x

Ps if u can get a nuby mesh thing, I put cold melon and soft fruits from the fridge in it So it soothes Charlie's gums as he eats it and I also give him cucumber sticks to chomp on x

I do the same as mrs2010 just be mindful of any salt n sugar u might use if blending anything ur having urself like bolagnaise etc. Its loads cheaper n better for ur little one to have homemade food. Im so proud that at 9 mths old Dan has never had any jars or pouches only baby related food has been porridge n the organics snacks. Hes had no chocolate crisps sweets or pop cant believe some mums give their babies that sort of stuff in my baby group!

He is only 10 weeks tomorrow so its not that, maybe he is growing (he isnt having conventional growth spurts lol). at the moment he is going long amounts (4 hours usually) in between feeds so dont think he is hungry

I recommend getting the Annabel Karmel books on weaning - they are brilliant and a reminder on how to wean (i have forgotten but will dig out the books). I recommend using normal porridge after a few weeks - thats what i did with amy and so much cheaper than the baby ones (and not as super sweet).

On the weightloss side of things I lost 1.5 pound last week. Absolutely no idea how - I ate out 6 out of the 7 days (altho i did do 2 walks and one was 7 miles long!)

In addition to the eating out I had cake/ ice cream and chocolate every day (not all 3 at once but usually 2 out of the 3) - and i had more than one bar on multiple occaisions! lol

So this week since weigh in its not going too well so far either - friday cake and chocolate and a small glass wine. saturday - cake, ice cream and 2 bars of chocolate! it was a bad day as i had all these plans for a family day and it all went wrong and i felt down abt it. Today we hope for a better day but still going out for the day with a slimming world picnic. but I am not taking my piece of cake with me as would rather have chocolate instead. but i will probs have an icecream!

Lol geordie weve all defo been there! Sometimes life gets in the way n cake! Might have to have a 99 too off out to the park its all the suns fault ;-)

I was quite good yesterday - During the day I had our healthy SW picnic (although I found out later there was a bit of marg on the sarnies as hubby made them the night before) - am choosing to exclude that! haha

Other that that I had a bar of diary milk (10 syns) and a solero (4.5) and a slimming world tea of beef stew, sw chips and veg. Daniel was doing his usual trick of whinging from 6pm-9pm so i also had another dairy milk.

oh well - weather has turned today so should be easier haha
