Hi Kelly,

Not sure how many syns Rennie have, but an alternative would be a small cold glass of milk which is great for heartburn and count it as your HexA, if you haven't used it already.

i say if its so uncomfortable which when i have heart burn is just have it no point feeling unwell just to diet,i tend to have heart burn at night when im due on so take a paracetamol and sit up with a warm cuppa,seems to pass after an hour

There are sugar-free Rennies, should be able to find them in Boots or Superdrug and I think they should be syn-free. The normal ones are almost as sugary as standard sweets!

Peppermint tea some times works for me i also have peppermint squash in hot water if its really bad i take very strong antacids as it is so cant take rennie as well I dont tend to syn the squash as i cant cope with not having it.
