Hi everyone

I'm not really doing slimming world, I'm following Gillian Mckeiths 'you are what you eat' book, but slimming world is the closest I can find on here, as it uses the same food optimising idea.

so I wondered if it would be allright if I gatecrashed and posted in here for a while? I'm trying to do it on my own mostly so I could do with some likeminded people to chat with on an evening :)

Hi Iva,
I "detoxed" on Gillian McKeith last year, quite enjoyed it actually but I didn't lose much weight! Felt good though. I think the main differences are that you need to watch the amount of meat and pasta you have with Gillian, but you can have as many nuts and dried fruits and as much fruit juice as you want.

I think that might have been my problem, I ate lots of nuts!! They're really healthy but not good for weight loss!!!
