Cherry Beer

Hello all!

Just wondered if anyone could help me with syn value for Cherry Beer. I've googled, searched the SW website and this site too, to no avail.

I had 4 bottles last night and have counted them as 6 syns each, looking along the line of wheat beer, but think im a bit low cos of the fermented cherries I haven't counted.

Any help would be really appreciated so I can syn correctly for the rest of the week.

Google to find out the calories and then use 1 syn for every 20 calories

No idea, but they sound yummy, where did you get them from

Google says theres 222 calories in kriek (dont know how accurate that is or for how much!) but that would be 11 syns. Sam adams cherry wheat is 166, so 8.3 syns

Thank you for the replies, I hadn't thought of googling the calories. Am gutted re the syn values, and had estimated them at 6 each! Ah well, reduced syns this week til weigh in - I can do it!!!
