Hi Kittykat you could try whisking in some mash potato that would be free on a green day. Cant think of a non-syn way, but I did look up the original Bisto Browning, if made up to 100ml following the packet instructions is only 1 syn on green or red.

have you got a HexB left you could stick a chopped up spud in thatll help it thicken up a bit , or squash or courgette it wont necessarily thicken it up as such but they will soak up some of the liquid so itll look thicker and more vegetabley (I know thats not a proper word) oh yeah and butternut squash and courgette are free so itd just be bonus veg

grated carrot might thicken it up - or put the casserole on a high heat for a while so some of the fluid evaporates
