Chinese curry sauce

There is a recipe in the new comfort foods booklet for curry sauce and chips................now where did i put that booklet, when i find i'll post, or one of these other lovely peeps may find it before me!

right found it............... under the sofa obviously.....naughty kitties!
Curry sauce
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2" piece of ginger, finely grated
1tbsp hot or medium curry powder
400g can chopped tomatoes
2floz/57ml veg stock
2tbsp sweetner
2oz/56g fat free yogurt
handful chopped corriander
handful chopped mint

Gently soften the onion, garlic and ginger in fry light, 1-2 mins, then add curry powder and cook for a further 1-2 mins. then add tomatoes and stock and sweetner. bring to boil and the simmer for 12-15 mins to reduce and thicken, then when cool blitz in a food processor (or hand blender would work well to) gently reheat to serve with yogurt adn herbs.
serve with you SW chips :)

i use mayflower chinese powder from farmfoods, not many syns to make a curry and it tastes lovely
4 syns for 100ml made up as directed, tastes like chinese takeaway curry sauce, i have mine on a fri with slices of chicken, beef, mushrooms, prawns, onion and few peas, make mine so it is like a special curry serve with boiled rice, lovely.
