I am still relatively new to SW but I'm wanting to mix up the way I eat my fruit...

I know fresh fruit smoothies are banned (SOB!:cry:) but I was wondering whether you are still allowed to just chop the fruit up...?
I'm aware it probably sounds stupid but I wanted to check as I can't seem to find out anywhere and I don't want any unnecessary syns on my list!

Also any good ideas for eating fruit in an exciting way would be greatly appreciated!:)

If you're simply chopping a single piece of fruit - and that's what you would have eaten whole anyway, then no, I certainly wouldn't syn it.
The SW ethos of syn'ing blended or cooked fruit is because in the altered state you might be likely to eat more than a single items worth & would be classed as 'abuse of free food'.

It's absolutely fine to chop your banana - if it wasn't we'd never be able to have fruit salad!

Ahhh thank you! I was 99% sure chopped fruit was fine but had a little freak out and wanted to check!

Fruit salad sounds good! Might have to whip one up asap!

Any other fruit based recipes would be greatly appreciated too!
