Got a recipe for Chorizo and Butter beans, but I don't want the Syns of the Chorizo, so could I use a lean gammon and a big pinch of smoked paprika instead?
Don't see why not. I made a spicy pork stew the other day using smoked paprika and my daughter would have sworn there was chorizo in it! She was soo disappointed when I told her there wasn't lol
How about de-skinning a sausage (WW or sainsburys low fat) mixing with black pepper, smoked paprika and maybe a tiny bit of ceyenne, roll back into sausage shape, fry in frylight then slice when cold? only half a syn
