Hello to any readers!

Well I decided it was silly writing my daily totals on little scraps of paper and decided to start a little diary to go along with it! I would like to look back on this in a few months time and be proud of myself. A little insight to me.. I am a tall girl (6'4) and my start weight was 23 stone 4 lbs (shock horror!) I am currently a stay at home mum with two children and a loving supportive husband (who is very disturbed that i am losing my bottom lol!) I had a very personal and tragic loss on 22nd august 2013, my little Izzy was stillborn. There was no real explanation and although I was told it was nothing to do with me, I cannot but help feel like my weight might have been a contributing factor since I was classed as m. obese. I made a promise to myself and to Izzy that I would get healthy and fit, in order to have a healthy happy life and one day give her and my two other children a healthy sibling. I have been on Slimming World for 5 weeks now (week 6 starts tomorrow) and have lost a total of 1 stone 4 lbs! So proud of my achievement so far and I hope to continue.

So here goes.. good luck to everyone else on their weight loss journey, please feel free to comment it's always nice to have a touch of support! (I don't go to meetings!)

Not sure how i feel about today.. i went to boots and thinking i would be really good and have one of their '500' calorie meal deals. then i got home and looked and saw the sandwich was 14 syns :( absolutely gutted and feel like i havent had much all day. had a plate full for dinner lots of veggies so hopefully been ok. dont think ive had many calories today.

Feeling down as my weight hasnt changed for a few days and am struggling to 'go', feeling very uncomfortable and full.

just got to keep at it

aww thanks for commenting, it was and is hard but to be honest, this has given me a reason not to dwell - im concentrating hard on this! hehe not to worry about names - i usually go by ellie on here since its easier for people looking at my username! ellie is my daughter! x

Same, I'm okay mostly but I'm very picky lol. I don't really like strawberrys and apples, but I like melon, pineapple and oranges. I was getting pineapple but I found it was much more economic to get a melon, as 1 honeydew melon will last me about a week, a pineapple will last about 2/3 days lol. When I did the plan a few years ago I always used to have blueberries with ff yog/fromage fraige
 
hmm i like melon! I know it may sound weird but do you find that in some insane way its easier to make a sandwich than it is to pick up an apple? I swear thats how i feel its crazy! realy trying hard to change my attitude. just had a big binge.. i couldnt control myself was like a mad woman feel awful now.

It could of been worse! At least you've recorded everything so you can see areas to improve :) I find that eating SW food that feels naughty sort of helps me not feel like im not missing out, like SW chips or I made a gorgeous sweet chilli chicken meal that was 3syns per portion on EE the other day :) maybe trying some meals that feel naughty would help and then you wouldn't feel like the need to binge? Xx
