Extra Easy Christmas Holiday! Fooood!

    I haven't booked anything yet but I am looking to go away to Germany for the Christmas markets in November. This will be in my 7th week of slimming world. It'll be all cake, waffles ice cream, egg nogg, mulled wine, sausages etc!!! What the hell would I do?! Don't wanna throw 7 weeks if hard work down the drain. Can't decide whether just not to book it :(

    You can't not go away. It sounds lovely. I went to Florida a month ago for a week and although I was super excited to go I was also dreading what to eat. Everything is either fried, served with chips or just massive potions. So I just had a bit of what I wanted instead of the whole amount like I wouldve done if I wasn't on sw. So that way I didn't feel deprived. I had ice cream, chips, crisps, bread etc just way smaller quantities. (i also walked loads which helped too) When I got back I was straight back on plan and actually lost half a pound. So go for it- would be a shame to miss out.

    Ah right thanks alot :) just worried it'd be a gain after dieting!

    Go, have fun, and eat lots of currywurst, germknödel, garlic mushrooms and gluhwein! That is what I would do :D
    But make good choices when you can instead of completely writing the week off!
    And you will prob lose what you gain the following week.

    I have just returned from a week in venice, had yoghurt and fruit for breakfast, lunch was usually a pannini (just had half, hubby had the rest) drank diet coke or water during the day and then had a slap up meal with a couple of glasses of wine every evening, usually had starter and main although occassionally a desert, had tomato based pasta, rissotto, pizza and seafood with the a few ice creams (cannot go to Italy and not) Stuck to plan before I went and straight back on when i returned and lost 2.5Lbs so well chuffed. We did do loads of walking which helped.

    Oh god I'm dreading christmas, me and OH are going to a restaurant for xmas dinner then again on boxing day with family. Also work christmas meal at the start of December. I dont know how I'm going to cope!
