I have spent the past 2 days on the Cambridge Diet forums and was convinced that this was the one to try ( well it's the only one I haven't tried!!!!). Slightly worried about the lack of calories and the headaches but everyones weight loses seemed to be fantastic so why would I not want to do this but as I sat at the table with my 2 young daughters while they ate baked potato with tuna and salad and I remembered the days that I did food optimising and thought what on earth am I doing??? Do I really want to or need to put myself through the torture of going on a very low calorie diet just to have faster results. I am sure that for some people it may be the right decision but for me ? I'm not so sure. Admittedly I need to lose at least 5 stone but I also want to teach my daughters to eat healthily and having nothing other than shakes and 6 litres of water a day is that really the way?
I lost nearly 3 stone in the past with Slimming World then did what a lot of people do thought I could do it alone and guess what ? Correct it all went back on.
Has anyone tried CD then went back to SW ?
