Confused

Hi everyone

I am a little bit confused. I have been going to Slimming World for 8 weeks and have lost nearly 1 1/2 stones so very pleased. However, this evening I was reading through my book and I noticed in the Syn section that it says baked potato 100gms is free does this mean if you have a potato which is more than 100 grms then it is not free. Also one rasher of bacon is free I unusally have 2 again does this mean it has syns. It says you don't have to weigh although I know you weigh your cereal on the HexA. I hope someone can help me understand this. Even baked beans says 100grms and I know I have been having more thinking they were free. Thanks:confused:

Potatos are free unless on red, I believe. If you're doing EE, don't worry about it. The book says 100g because that's generally the weight all calories counting and diet books etc go by. Again, the bacon is free - as long as you cut off all the visible fat! It's just giving a general weight. If something like that is labelled free, it's generally safe it eat how much of you want of it and still have it as free. The trick is not to overindulge and just eat until you are full and remember your superfree :)

Anymore questions? Grats on the fab weight loss, too!

If you look, it will also have a syn value for that amount of potato on a red day, and one for that rasher of bacon on a green day. They only give weights & measures so you can see the syn value on red & green days. If you follow extra easy thn you don't need to syn any free food - just remember your 1/3rd superfree & stop when you are full x

Just picking up on something I read from your post. I know it all seems confusing at first, but HexA is your milk or cheese. Your HexB is your cereal, hope this helps :)
