how many syns in 7ml or 14ml vegetable oil please?

Following on the thread for Tefal's Actifry, if not using fry light or extra virgin olive oil as a HEXB, I'm curious as to what the syn value would be.

Approx of course as most oils will have differing values.

Thanks.

All types of oil are 2 syns for a level teaspoon and 6 syns for a level tablespoon.

(It says "level" in the food optimising book - page 47 - but I am not quite sure why. A heaped spoonful of oil would be quite an achievement!)

Do you have/know the equivalent in ml for the various spoon measures?

Especially as the Actifry needs 14ml for 1kg of chips and reduced amount for lesser amounts - presumably a sliding scale. I'm fairly sure 14ml is considerably more than 2 syns lol.

Edit: assuming 5ml for a tsp and 3 tsp = 1tbsp the 14ml would equal 1tbsp.

Can anyone confirm or refute this please?

Thanks for that - I'd hate to completely mis-calculate syns. I can also eat 250g of chips and give away the other 750g thus only having to count 1.5 syns.

Roasted parsnips cooked in oil what would u say syn value was?xx
