cous cous?

I had some of the leftover SW mushy pea curry sauce left after a dinner and threw some of that over my cous cous with different veggies and Quorn pieces.. Syn free and stopped the usual dryness :)

I tend to just add things like peppers, mushrooms, onions, and then either chicken, Quorn sausages or other Quorn.
I also find smoked paprika and garlic are imperative to add, kind of makes it taste more like packaged cous cous :)

Halloumi goes nice with cous cous and is about 3 syns a portion when fried in Frylight, then melt it on top a bit.

Or falafels syn free with cous cous and salsa :)
I LOVE COUSCOUS :D

Ive just been looking at a thread for alternate dumplings made with cous cous - for broths etc they sound lush

I made scotch eggs covered with couscous......

I like to roast lots of veg (usually peppers, mushrooms, butternut squash, red onion with garlic) then make the cous cous up with chicken stock, then add the roasted veg and some balsamic vinegar. Yummy! And even nicer eaten cold the next day when the flavours have intensified.
