Craving pizza :(

for the last week or so I have reeeeally wanted pizza :( I tried making some using rolls but it doesnt work :(
I know it's not good, and being 2lbs away from my stone award I have managed to avoid it :(
I know thought that I wont be able to do it forever :( What is the best way to have a pizza? The one I really want...chicago town takeaway pepperoni is 23 syns for 1/4...
Do you think it would really damage my weight loss to have 1/4 one evening with loads of superfree?
Im wondering if Im having a star week as Ive been dreaming of eating chocolate so vividly I wake up thinking Ive really done it...but I'm on the depo so have no idea when my star week is :(
Sorry for rambling just really wanna know if I can have the pizza or if I should try to soldier on :(
 
I have had these dreams, I had one last night that I was in a biscuit factory and was tasting all the products, lol. When did you have your depo injection last? I find that I really struggle the 2 weeks before and week after mine. Thankfully I still know when my star week would be, my cravings aren't too bad then but I still usually get a gain. It's injection time that my cravings are bad.
Have you tried the pizza topped chicken on the sw website? The pizza sauce is truly amazing and tastes better than anything you can buy in a shop, you could then put it on wholemeal pitta if you didn't fancy chicken? Or on a Tortilla wrap for 9 syns which is a really good way to enjoy a pizza! :)
 
I havnt tried that, no but I definitely will now :) Anythings worth a go to stop me wanting the pizza lol.
My depos not due for another 6 weeks yet so Im right in the middle :(

Bless ya. Maybe try and get a lower syn pizza and like you say add loads of superfree. If you get a thin and crispy one that usually helps, then just get one without pepperoni on as that loads lots of extra syns in

Hope you can find an alternative you enjoy xx
 
Hello. I'm having Pizza's tonight, and the best thing about it..they're only 5 Syns each!! :drool:

I use Weight Watchers Tortilla Wraps (5 Syns each) and top with passatta, mushrooms, onion, peppers, sweetcorn and cheese (hexa). Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes and voi la!

You could add any free toppings you like: ham, pineapple, chicken, etc.

Why not give it a try :)
 
I like bolgnese pizzas so had a really nice bolognese pizza made from a tortilla topped with free bolognese and HEA cheese. Nom :)
 
I decided to give into the urge last week (id been really ill all week and not really eaten anything for 3-4 days) but i stupidly got a stuffed crust 12" veggie delight lol i regretted it so much after though, it was greasy, fattening, and i felt really ill after id eaten it, i had bad belly ache and the day after i had bad runs! sorry for tmi! it was horrid, that should be enough to put you off lol i only had 2 slices of it i didnt eat all of it and it did that to me, think it was too much fat than what im used to having eaten really healthily on sw plan since beginning of jan, and i can tell you i certainly dont want to see pizza for a long time now where as before sw i would happily eat 2-3 a week for my tea's. resist the urge and have a tortilla pizza :D (have you tried smash pizza? i tried that and really didnt like it but a lot of people rave about it, might be worth a try)
 
I love Smash pizza, I managed to make my 1st ever crispy base the other night & it was amazing.
 
I have been using the warburton's square-ish wraps and then adding my home-made tomato sauce and whatever toppings I want. You get a decent sized pizza for just 8 syns. it would serve two if you were having say chips with it but I like to keep it all to myself!

I've tried the tortilla pizza, lovely but wanted 2 of them. I like using wholemeal coop pitta with homemade tom sauce, tuna and cheese). U can have it as a healthy extra a and b. Have green day for 2hea and 2heb and u can have 2 if u want with skinny chips :) syn ur toppings tho.
 
Think i'm doing this on friday for dinner. WW tortilla wrap, my hea of cheese & some toppings, with chips & salad. Yum!
 
Pitta pizza is SO the way forward! Healthy extra pitta, a bit of passata and herbs, all the veggies you like... I don't bother with cheese myself, mind.

Am intrigued by Smash pizza, tell me more!
 
Use your HEB to make wholemeal pizza base (about 70g dough makes 60g bread) and your HEA for cheese. Add loads of veg and a nice tomato sauce. I make 1kg & dough keep 70g dough balls in the freezer, they take about an hour to defrost and you can make (v cheap) pittas, flat breads, pizza etc. Use stoneground 100% wholemeal flour and they ate super healthy. You just need to roll it out v flat to get a nice size pizza.
 
Pete’s Pizza made from Instant Mash (3)



Serves 4

Ingredients

Use 125g from a pack of Sainsbury Instant Mash (250g)
One Tsp of mixed herbs.

Method

Mix together then add hot water until the mix is like bread doe.
Add 1 egg and mix.
Spray a Flat Pan with 3-4 Fry Light shots, wipe across pan.
Press the mix into the pan and cover in clingfilm, rolling out with a rolling pin as thin as possible, remove clingfilm.
Cook one side until light brown then slide onto a flat plate with care, add 2-3 Fry Lights then return the pizza base and cook other side 3-6 mins depends on thickness.
Allow to cool on a cake rack.

Put Passata in a pan enough to cover Pizza base, add 1 TSP Tomato Puree and a few drops of “Worcester Sauce”,add chopped basil leaves, heat till thickened but DO NOT BOIL.
Coat the Pizza base with the Passata, cook your onion in balsamic vinegar until soft, add to base.
Add your choice of “Toppings”

This was my choice of Toppings : 5balls/40g Mozzarella, 1 slices of Lean Ham, 2 Mushrooms, sprinkled with 28g of Mild Hard Cheddar and place on Pre Heated Pizza Stone at 180/190 and cook until the cheese is bubbling.

Eat with Salad.

For the last two days for lunch I have been having a pitta pizza.

For the tomato, I use tomato puree mixed with garlic, basic and other herbs. I cut my pitta in half and cover it in the tomato then add whatever veg and usually bacon and cover with cheese.

I tend to use the pitta and cheese as my healthy extras so it is all syn free. And amazingly tasty!
