I've been asked on a date tomorrow. Should I be honest about my diet, and risk the strange looks, or be honest, and he can like it or lump it.? (no pun intended).

where are you going on the date? if you feel comfortable telling him then i dont see why not, otherwise you could go to the cinema or something ?

He suggested a drive down to Wales, which I went and agreed to.
But I will have my bottle of water with me (oh god, I'm laughing already picturing the scene).

Why tell him, if he suggests a meal, say your abit shy of eating in company, then when your out, make sure you have already eaten, if its a first date, then nooo don't tell him, he might be dead against diets, and you want to impress, not make him worry! But most of all HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!!
