day 2 and feel so crappy

    been feeling hungry all day, and bit weak is this normal? most people ive spoke to about ur first week says its not that bad, but seems that it is at mo for me! just feeling really crappy:cry: my mood has been really bad too, sorry im just moaning but its really got to me today!

    i just want to burst into tears every few mins, im really snappy and i think a lot of my friends r v negative about it. to think ive got 14 weeks of this is not a good feeling

    i suffer from axiety so it may not be as bad im prob just having panic, most of friend r overweight and i feel they just r annoyed somhow. i thinkim just feeling sorry for myself!!

    My husband says I was very irritable the first few days, and looking back I was. I thought the first few days were hard and was off to the loo every five seconds which wasn't much fun! You've got to give it a few days to work out whether it's right for you. Sometimes friends feel intimidated by others future success. Don't let them sabotage your future happiness!

    ive just had a bath and feel a million times better! thank you for being supportive it means a lot, im going to buy some bath things like buble bath and bath oils and have a different one every night to look forwards to. i think also ive been way over thinking this whole thing, i need to just get on with it!! hopefully im out of my down hill spiral!

    glad ur feeling better xxx when i was having a wobble i kept saying to myself " im choosing not to eat its my choice to do this" and it actually really helped knowing that im doing this for me!

    Just following on from Catz...I think affirmations might be useful for you too. You know sort of saying "I am a great person", "I am a success"...whatever you want to believe about yourself. Gradually you start to believe it but keep saying those positive things to yourself repeatedly until you start to believe it!
    As for the advice about having a bath - works everytime for me too!! Spoil yourself!!

    Hey Hip Chick!!! Don't be sad - it's usual to run the gamut of emotions when you start something like this. After all - it does have the potential to change your life and sometimes that feels a little overwhelming - I know it did to me.

    Like the others have said it WILL get easier - promise!! You're just going thru' the carb withdrawal, and the caffeine withdrawal and the sugar downer and the detox............. but hey - then you'll be in ketosis and will have lost pounds by next week and be all happy again!!! Just grit your teeth and work through it. Find a distraction. Go into a quiet room and beat the crap out of some cushions!! Come and have a rant in September Starters!!!

    We'll be there holding your hand!!

    I had a horrendous time for the first 5-6 days. I really didnt know if i could do it. i didnt want to waste £66 though so carried on. I felt ill, weak,tired,dizzy,hungry,emotional,sick, had the runs.
    I have to add though to that bad picture that I feel great now. really. dont get me wrong i am still finding not eating stuff i like hard but its easier to control. im not hungry at all. seriously give yourself a few more days and you will feel better.
