Day three blues........

Hello everyone

Have just found this site and Im hoping that I get some advice on how to keep on with this diet..........

Little introductions first, Im 'officially' 5 stone overweight but 'only' want to lose between 3 and half and 4 stone, I think any more and I wouldnt look right.

Ive tried everything really and a friend at work told me about lipotrim so I thought Id give it a go.

Started on Friday and boy am I finding it hard, day three today and all I want to do is cry, Im so hungry my tummy hurts, Im sick of weeing every 5 minutes and really worried how Im going to cope at work tomorrow..........

Does it really get easier???? If I continue feeling like this, even if I DO lose weight I wont be able to stick to it.

Does anyone have any tips to make things easier?

Oh and have discovered the vanilla shakes make me heave, would a pharmacist normally exchange them for another flavor, and what does everyone think of the flapjacks? Im craving chewing something so wondering if to try them.

Sorry so many questions on my first post, but finding this group has been my first ray of sunshine today, I look forward to getting to know you all!!!!

It definately does get easier, I had these kind of feelings on Day 2 and not felt them since - try and stick at it, it does get easier.

Do you like coffee - I add some coffee to the vanilla ones (that's the only way I like it) but my pharmacist has said if I don't like any flavours they would just exchange them.

I have tried both flavour flapjacks, all I can say is DON'T DO IT - they are foul, I thought I would give them a try as it would be easier at work and they made me gag!!

Good luck and the weight will soon come off x

Hello and welcome Queenie! First of all relax, it does get easier you will be going into ketosis any day now and you will feel much better once this happens its only 4 more days to first weigh in just focus on that. Drink all your water and distract yourself be any means possible until you hit ketosis. Dont think of it as 'peeing' think of it as lossing weight lol You have got to day three thats fantastic do not give up whatever you do you have done the hardest days huni. You are going to love the results on LT. Good luck and post on here as much as you can it is a lifesaver xxx

Thats all normal Queenie you are withdrawing from all the carbs etc thats why you have a headache not because of LT. take one day at a time the first week is not nice but it doesnt stay that way xx

Hiya Gothicqueen. I'm new to the lipotrim forum too. I'm starting the diet tomorrow so I can't give you any advice but your post has reminded me why I'm so nervous about it lol.
The first few days are always the hardest (apparentley) so you've done great so far. Stick with it and think how good you'll feel when that weight starts dropping off :)

the chemist will take the vanillas back, but only on the first week...
After that, like it or lump it lol, that's what I was told x

you will start to feel better, hang on in there, keep busy and drink your water

you will do great...

Hi Queenie, hope that you're starting to feel a bit better?

The shakes aren't great. But they're a million times better than the soup and the crapjacks! Try the vanilla with coffee and sweeteners as suggested or also on it's own with plenty of ice and really blended until frothy. The choc is great made with cold, strong, peppermint tea, you can also add coffee to the choc to get a mocha. You need to experiment a bit to find what works for you but for me it's loads of ice and a stick blender!

Believe us, by the end of about day 5 you will be feeling so good and then your weight loss will really spur you on......one day at a time babe:D

Hi Queenie,

The best tip I was given when starting was to think of the shakes as medicine that will make you thin so do not expect to like them! Added a spoon full of coffee granules to the vanilla shake, helps a bit, but the main thing with all the shakes is to blend, blend and blend again, any lumps are really bad. My children and the neighbours dog would not the flapjack :D normally they eat anything.

Its day 3 for me and im feeling quite good, long may this last eh!
Ive lost 3 pounds short of 5 stone so im sure it wont be long before your hitting your goal :)

Keep with it, feeling like crap for afew days is defo worth it :)

I actually feel a hundred times better today! Have made the vanilla ones with coffee, and instead of having it in one big go, Ive split the sachet, is that ok to do that???? and Im actually enjoying it that way

Also having the chocolate ones hot with peppermint tea and thats nice too, are we allowed peppermint tea??

being at work is helping asIm so busy!

thank god I dont feel as bad as yesterday!!

Day 5 for me today and im feeling ok!
Cant even sneak a look at the scaled cos i need a new battery but hoping for success come wednesday

Glad you're feelin better today :) I'm only on day 1 and I've got the shakes already lol (probably more to do with the fact that I woke up with a cold this morning though :sigh:). Nice to know there's light at the end of the tunnel lol. Keep up the good work :)

Im so glad I didnt crumble yesterday, If I had some vimto bonbons in the house I would have Im sure

Think I felt worse as its the time of themonth and hadnt given much thought to that contributing to the feeling kek!!! Maybe should have put off starting for a week but thats just anther week not doing it isnt it!!!

Im feeling much more positive now than before, and actually think I CAN do this.

If I can get to day 4 without cheating there is hope for everyone else!!!!!

Hey Gothicqueen - Just think of Whitby!!

I'm going to get through this by thinking of Glasto2011- and all the fabulous clothes I will be able to buy at the market when I get there in june - I've alsways been to big to dress the way I want to so make do with makeup, hair and peircings - DAMN it I want a black tutu and stripey tights like I've always wanted!!!

My top tip would be to stay off the scales between weighins - Especically for the first, as I really felt I had ruined the surprise sort of on sunday when I went already knowing what I had achieved.
