:sigh: I typed out a great big post and then the computer crashed on me, so I'm having to restart it.

Here's some of my favourite pictures from turkey :D

I think I'm looking at a 4-5lb gain when I weigh in later in the week, I haven't been on plan at all, there's been a lot of comfort eating going on and because I didn't get back into it straight away when we got back (our freezer had defrosted while we were away because the electric had tripped, so I had to throw away all of my meals) I haven't had the willpower to go for it. So I'm completely holding my hands up, but fingers crossed we're doing a shop later this week once Chris has been paid so I can get back on it next week.

There's a lot of tension in the air at mum's. My brother's gf is blaming him for Yogi being swept away because he didn't hear her scream for help. Mum is blaming my brother's gf because she didn't get Yogi in first, despite knowing he had awful recall (though mum would never say it outright to her). My brother is feeling guilty and his gf is being her usual self - saying horrible things about Yogi and then when it came to collecting his ashes from the vets, she was crying.

Percy (mum's new pup) is helping with the heartache a lot. He is such a sweet gentle little guy that you can't help but love him. He doesn't like being told off and yesterday came running to me after he'd been told "NO!" for chasing the cats, curled up and went to sleep

I had my dress appointment on the 23rd in yorkshire and I'm over the moon as I've found the most stunning dress ever, and it wasn't even one that I had originally picked out because it had flowers on the side, it was one that the shop owner picked for me :giggle: It's amazing, it has a bit of bling, but isn't too ott, it pulls me in at all the right places, and (most importantly) makes me feel like a princess. I do have a picture of me wearing it, but I'm scared Chris will see it :giggle:

Your piccies are fab. I completely understand why you haven't been able to get back on it immediately. Such a disappointment when your freezer was thawed. Not to mention the money. Can you claim on insurance. But even the lost efforts can be soul destroying. Still it gives you a clean slate with no naughty stuff in the freezer so if you only add good stuff it ought to help eventually. If it was me i'd just cook double the amount of each dish you have this week and gradually build up your stocks rather than trying to do it all at once. But I know you sometimes do the cookathon thing so whichever you prefer. I was just thinking money wise. Hope you get it sussed out one way or another and get back to it cos you do so well when you can be focussed. :D
