Distraction techniques!

I had a huuuuge test of willpower today - I was flying and faced with all the yummy free food (most of it carbs!) in the airport lounge!

To try to divert my mind from the sarnies, pastries and crisps, I grabbed a huge pile of newspapers and read them cover-to-cover to avoid thinking about the food!

This got me wondering - what tactics do you all have to distract you when there's naughty food about and you have to avoid it?? Any tips I can pick up? :)

I always made sure I had a legal snack with me hooya.

I pinch my excess flab. A reminder of why i am no longer eating that kind of stuff. Its working so far....

Thanks folks! So true about having legal snacks on hand!

And I totally agree about 'cheating', I'd rather do it properly or not do it at all! :)
