dulcoease?

Jayellekay

this time - the last time
Are we allowed to use it? Has anyone tried?

I know we can use dulcolax and its the same brand.

Thanks!

Don't know, sorry. Can you contact your CDC and ask?

MM

as far as i know we cant as there is something in the coating that can compromise ketosis . I know the dulcolax pico pearls are ok ( mean to be gentler than dulcolax ) but I find it gives me terrible cramps and I had the runs for 5 days !!! I am sticking to movicol as it is gentle but effective :)

I think you will find that dulcolax is too strong and not recommended on CD. I too use Movicol - wonderful stuff

Thanks for your comments. I'm really trying to find a tablet, not dissolvable.

Saw dulcoease and thought we might be allowed.

I think the gentlest tablets you can get are senna or dulcolax pearls ( not the tablets ) although I still find these give me horrendous cramps , i am afraid the nature of the bowel means that tablet form laxatives are very harsh and not suitable for regular use , I actually find that if I use 2 sachets of movicol with a pint of water with orange flavour in I enjoy it and find its quite filling too so great in those hungry times

I hope you get sorted

Thanks. Fingers crossed this goes away! Not felt right for a couple of days now!
