That depends on whether the leeks (and any other veg) made up 1/3 of the whole bowl/pot. Potatoes don't count as super free, so providing the leeks covers 1/3 it would be fine, otherwise you would need to add either more veg, or have a salad or fruit either before or after.

hmm, its tricky isnt it! I think they make up at least half, 6 leeks and 3 large pots and an onion I think that counts as EE?

Yes if half the recipe was leeks and you had onion, then yes it would be EE, and the added apple... Def EE :)
