A reputation point is something that the other members can award you if they think your contribution to a thread is worthy of it.

It can be found be found on the left hand side of the post and is the scales in the middle of the three emblems below. I am sure MLM will not mind me using her as a worthy example.

You get a notification when you get rep points, click on it and then the rep comments appear at the bottom of the threads.
I always get a little warm feeling when I get a rep point, tis nice to be appreciated! I use my rep up most days!!!
