Exercise

    What do you all do for exercise while on Slim Fast?

    I used to do workout DVDs at home. My favourites were a 20 minute turbo jam and the Natalie Casady ones. I used to do them both daily. They worked well together and I am contemplating doing these again.

    At the moment I spent £25 a month on gym membership (inclusive of swimming). I have a bike, treadmill, weight bench and vibration plate machine at home - most of which I am trying to sell.

    I also have a wii, a push bike and loads of country lanes around me that I love to go walking in.

    What would you recommend my workout/exercise routine be when I start this diet on the 1st January? I want it to be maintainable, but also have quick results.

    was on Slim Fast but changed to Slimming world and Xenical
    are you happy with the gym???
    if you are i would continue....
    if not, then maybe do your dvd's one day, wii next, walk next, then bike (and then repeat) for the different days...
    variety is best, as your body wont get too used to it...
    if you like swimming keep the swimming in there, and just pay for that...

    I think you just need to use which ever one you are happier with, one that you know you will continue with.

    I was once a member of the gym and did enjoy it and lost weigh going there but then I went back to work full time etc and it just didnt work for me. I have found an even cheaper local one which I may join, am going to try it out on my brothers memebership first though.

    I used to have DVDs but my player started going funny so haven't actually use dit for a long time.

    I use my wii which I love. I have wii fit, Active Sports and My Fitness Coach so I vary there.

    I too have a cross trainer and exercise bike but hate this, find it so boring. I would rather have a proper bike to get out and about on. Nice if you have a good area to cycle in.
